Lace may be plain
or beaded and can be used as the major feature or incorporated
as trimming or edging.
Exquisite chantilly lace can be incredibly detailed, often
utilising heavy beadwork. It is an enchantingly delicate lace
and only takes a little used creatively to make your gown
look a million dollars!
Guilpure lace is thicker threaded than chantilly and variations
will depend on its origin. Mostly floral, Swiss and Italian
Guilpures have also experimented in bold symetrical patterns.
Fine or heavily embroided organza is sometimes burnt out
to reveal a cut out design. May contain an extra embroided
layer giving it a 3 dimensional effect.
